This week in math students were working with Prime and Composite numbers and finding factors of numbers. Some students are still need more time to master the concept, and we will continue to work on this skill next week. We will also be moving on to finding multiplication patterns (ex. 3 * 3 = 9, 3 * 30 = 90, ect.). This is were knowledge of basic facts will be essential for student success!!
Students were very successful at understanding animal behavioral adaptations. Next week we will bewroking on Pollution and the affects it has on the environment and animals. Mrs. Christensen's Homeroon will have their Lesson 3 Quiz on Wednesday, February 2. Mrs. Pardue's Homeroom will have their quiz on Friday, February 4.
Students need to be working on memorizing their multiplication facts (0-12). There are many ways to practice these, such as flash cards, internet websites (see math page), practice papers, just asking your student to answer questions orally. If you are in need of resources to support your student please contact me.
